Oh my!

Trying to get a good picture with these 3 on the go - is impossible! Michael with his hockey teeth, Ava with her hair (weeds) in her face and Henry with his perma-binkie. Forget about it!

oh well, one of these days they will hold still. and then they probably wont be nearly as cute, or fun!

Trouble maker

OK I know he looks cute. But Griffin Jr is a busy boy. He LOVES to climb, to run, to test boundries. Over and over again. He is one physical little boy just like his older cousin.

Both blond, both adorable. So far we have been very, very lucky and havent had too much spilled blood. A split lip, a cut hand... But I know it is coming. So enjoy a few more shots of his picture perfect face before we get the next bump or bruise from goodness knows what (i.e. standing on the arm of a chair, or diving off the back of the couch). Cause this little devil is full of energy!

Exhausted

This renovation is exhausting. Not only for us but for the kiddos. Michael and Ava are enjoying
their last few nights together before being in their own rooms.

Even Henners is worn out.

With the end in sight I hope we can all just make it another week or two!

Little food thief

Henry and Ava "sharing" some dinner.

french fry lover. thank goodness! One month into no kitchen.

Trying out teh ketchup - ohhhh! that's a little spicey.

Stole one of Ava's chicken fingers - we all watch to see what kind of reaction he will have.

Yep Ill take more of those...

And cram them all in.

Seems like yesterday Ava was stealing borrowing all of David and Grace's food.

Presents from grammie

When the package came we tried to recruit some models. Headband models for the new grammie special. Olivia and Ava were game. They loved trying them all on.

But we needed a model with a little less hair to really showcase the work...

He was not so appreciative...

in case you didnt notice the look.

But he perked up once we said they were from grammie.

Well at least for a minute!

Worn out

After a hard day of working on the house we are all worn out. Some of us go more gracefully into sleep than others. Henry and Michael fight it. Really fight it. Michael with things he dreams up to ask about or concerns for the next day. Henry with wiggling and flopping until he finally passes out. Ava falls asleep anywhere, usually ahead of us asking her to head to bed. Here she is enjoying a few minutes of a movie before heading off....

Bowling alley

Some people (I wont mention any names) thingk our new floor is a bowling alley and it is perfect for running and sliding as far as possible.

Dont worry Michael was in on the action too, he was just too fast to catch a good picture.

Snuggle time

Ava is such a good helper. I paint she brings me a papertowel in case I go outside the lines. Henry fusses and she is there to soothe him. She cleans up, she finds binkies, she anticipates what eveone might need. She is a blessing. Here she is helping snuggle henry and watch a show while I finish painting upstairs. Watching his favorite Yo gabba Gabba, so weird but apparently entertaining!

Halloween

Ava won first place at the costume contest for her Southern Belle outfit!

Michael
LOVED
his ghost face outfit!

Imade henry's pirate outfit. Lots of people said what a cute elf. He wouldnt wear a hat. He did wear an eye patch at daycare but not for me! Would've probably been a walking hazard anyways!

We have been busy at work...

...on our never ending project. We now have flooring! Grandpa and Alex negotiate the first row.

Henners went and found his hammer too. So cute that he wanted to help out.

Then Ava went and found her mini-scrapbooking hammer and got in on the action.

Its looking awesome! We couldnt have done it without Grandpa David, Alex, Patsy and Mamasue who came up to hang out and help with the kids.

Derek worked his buns off, he may be stooped over for the next month but we saved alot of money and it looks fantastic! Next up - kitchen cabinets.
