Lobster, hiking and biking is for the boys

Big boy time at our house. Derek and Michael planned their trip, chock full of all their favorite things. Mid-may is a beautiful time of year in Maine and if you can get away from the bugs (luckily they are out late this year) Acadia is one of the most beautiful places to spend a day. We feel so lucky to have Bar Harbor less than an hour from home.
Michael and Daddy had the best time ever, hiking, biking, eating lobster and hanging out at Jordan Pond House. Michael LOVES lobster. He was in heaven, a whole day with his favorite person, doing his favorite things (biking) and eating his favorite meal. Big thanks to Dad for making memories that neither one will ever forget.

On top of the world

Our memorial day weekend was a blast. We stayed at Lookout Point and took in the lovely seaside shopping, hiking, beaches and eclectic people. Ava and I hiked to the top of the mountain and she rode her scooter down, hair flapping in the breeze as I sprinted beside her calling, "brakes, brakes!" We had an adorable little cabin but the kids loved running around the grounds. Taking in the tiny boats bobbing in the ocean and the beautiful lush green islands. This was just the beginning to our wonderful trip!
