Guess who is riding without training wheels?

Michael! At first he was nervous, tried it a few times and then took a day to think about it. Tried it a few times the second day, and was doing it! By the third day he was wizzing around, up and down the driveway, turning, going up the hills...

And Ava! She took off with no training wheels before her dad even had the tires pumped up on Michael's bike. He is a few days ahead of her and helped her hone her skills.

She is a quick learner!

We love being outside enjoying the peace and quiet, our long driveway is perfect for safe riding.

Only Henry was a little bored. I dont think he got the cheering, but he did love watching the kids zip by.

Where has the time gone? I cant believe our little girl is turning SIX!

All grown up and looking it with her new, much cooler summer do.

We are going to have one of her little friends over this weekend to celebrate with us.

I cant believe that she is six years old. But at the same time she is so grown up for her age. So mothering and supportive of the boys. So smart and creative She reads like crazy, loves to do homework, and projects. Loves to help in the garden and helps daddy remember his shopiing lists. Full of initiave and spunk. Rarely complains. She is a real gem. We love you Ava Bean!

Henry is on the go. Actually he has been doing this on and off for the last two weeks but now he can pull up and take off by himself. He has also been taking steps unassisted. I think we may call that - walking!

He is getting better at turning his cart. Thank goodness because he used to crash it and holler until someone came to rescue him. Derek and I are having flashbacks to Michael and Ava driving their little carts around.

Look at those little feet fly - there is no slow going for this guy! Nearly 10 months old and on the loose!

After a walk down the beach for a trip to Michael's all time favorite store -Life is Good. Two shirts, two hats, and a dress later. We crossed the street to eat some famous pier fries and people watch. On the walk back to the condo we checked out all the French people, all the people who should not be wearing bikinis and speedos and all the hysterical Life is Crap shirts. We finished off our awesome day with dinner at our favorite restaurant Jimmy the Greeks. Thanks Mama Sue and Patsy for taking the kids for the week, spoiling them rotten (as usual) and sharing your little piece of beach heaven.
